too pretty not to post!!!

i struggle sometimes (do you?)… knowing my worth and who i am in Christ Jesus.  other’s opinions about who i am or should be can pollute my thoughts… when i let them.

knowing and believing that you are enough, you are needed, you are wanted, and you are complete as you are, right now… i need to remember.

i see it clearly when i look in my children’s eyes looking at me.

i feel it deeply when i am in husband’s strong arms.

i know it well when i talk with a friend.

i need to remember it regularly as i glance at my own reflection.

i am so looking forward to the man he will become.

swimming & splashing water
wearing bathing suits all day
new flip flops for the boy
the whole family playing mario kart…. love it!
transformer movie… for the boy & dad
staying out outside all day sometimes
starbucks venti iced coffee… for mom
guitar lessons
calla lilies from trader joes
staying up late… real late (or early)
summer fruits… yum!

the mall… for the girl & her friends

vacation
new pillows

guitar hero battles!
prayer/bible time with my kids… so special
standing in line @ yogurt mill… so worth it!

phil’s bbq… oh yes!
ice cold water bottles in the fridge
dates with the hubby… yay us!
dinner outside
cartwheels & hula hoops
going to see ‘wicked’… too excited!
‘teen vogue’ in the mail… for the girl
dancing around the house w/ ipod on… mom

happy earth day!

we doing our part today… just little things.

but needed everyday.

less water running.

unplug more.

turn off lights… dinner by candlelight.

no more paper towels or paper napkins.

put canvas bags in cars for shopping.

less hairspray… more natural curls.

give clothes to local charity for reuse.

donate magazines to local hospital waiting room.

the earth is the lord’s and its fullest.

and everything that dwells therein.
